MIMICRYCATS BAILEY OF LYKALEOPARD
I am learning not to take a tour through PJs Exotic Cats or even on-line Bengal or Chausie sites. When I met my first Chausie I was just enthralled with the beauty of the ticked coat and the calm intelligent eyes. Adding the fact of a loving personality, who can resist?

PJSEXOTICS BAMBICAT OF LYKALEOPARD
This pretty girl, Bambicat, and our boy Bailey are the first in our Chausie line. The sweet temperment and look of the jungle are a welcome addition to our cat family.

ABOUT CHAUSIES..... Over 3000 years ago, Felis lybica and Felis chaus (known as Jungle Cat) became popular pets in Egypt, due to their tame temperments and sleek beauty.
Starting in the 1960s, they were bred mainly with the domestic Abyssinian cat which is similar in look and habit to the Jungle Cat but much smaller. The breed was granted registration status with TICA in 1995.
Depending on the size of their parents, Chausie males may weigh 10-22 pounds and the females are smaller. Coloring may be brown ticked tabby (golden), solid black, black grizzled, mouse gray, deep yellow brown, silver tipped black, and blue.
They are affectionate and loyal and bond to their people as well as enjoying other pets. They have large, mobile ears, are active, curious, intelligent, and usually involved in the goings on of the household. They are not a pet to be left alone all day but need your affection too.
